I think I’m going out of my mind…
Every day seems darker than the other and every day, its getting harder and harder to find a reason.
Everyday the demons are winning
I don’t even know how to fight anymore.
I don’t even know what to say.
Maybe it really is about time to put things behind me and embrace those demons.
But not today…today I still have a little strength to put down that pretty shiny thing…to make a decision not to stop by and buy the necessary items…
Just for today…
It really feels like I’ve stopped fighting my demons and they’re leading me to a precipice, cooing words of encouragement in my ears…
I feel like I’m standing at the edge of the abyss, looking down into that inky neverending darkness and tentatively moving my foot out to take that step…and I’m standing in stasis. Still staring at that darkness and almost welcoming the darkness…
Almost but not yet…
It’s getting harder…so much harder
Just to pretend I’m ok
Just to pretend I’m really smiling
Not clawing my way through every day
When the sun peeks over the horizon it should be a celebration
Not to me
It’s just another day to fight through
Just another day where I die slowly
I’ve forgotten what it’s like to laugh…
To REALLY laugh…
